Aloha Crew Kitchen ("we," "us," "our") is a Hawaiian kitchen in Chantilly, Virginia. This policy explains what information we collect through https://alohacrewkitchen.com and through the catering quote requests and inquiries you send us, how we use it, and how you can control it.

Information you give us

Most of what we collect comes directly from you, usually when you ask us to quote or cater an event, call or email us, or follow up on an order. That can include:

• Your name, email address and phone number.
• Your company or organization, and the on-site contact for an event.
• Event details you choose to share: the event address and loading setup, date, start and end times, guest count, budget range, menu and rental selections, bar service, and entertainment preferences.
• Food allergies, dietary needs or other notes you send to us.
• How you found us (for example, a referral, a review site or social media) and whether you have worked with us before.

We do not ask for and do not want sensitive information such as payment card numbers, government ID numbers or health records through this website. Online food orders and rewards signups are handled on Square's platform, under Square's own privacy policy.

Information collected automatically

When you browse the site, we and our hosting and analytics providers may collect standard technical information: the pages you view, the date and time, the site that referred you, your approximate location derived from your IP address, your browser and device type, and general interaction events such as submitting a quote request. This information is used in aggregate to understand what people are looking for and to keep the site working.

Our Instagram feed section shows photos from our public Instagram account. That content is loaded from Instagram, and Instagram may receive technical information about your visit under its own privacy policy.

Cookies and similar technologies

We use a small number of cookies and similar browser storage to keep the site functioning and to measure traffic. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Blocking them will not stop you from viewing the site or sending a quote request, but some measurement may not work.

We send email about a request or event you have started with us. If you sign up for kitchen updates or rewards, you can stop those messages at any time using the unsubscribe link in the message or by asking us.

Who we share it with

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. We share it only as needed to run our business:

• Service providers who host and secure our website, deliver our email, and measure site traffic, working on our instructions.
• Square, when you place an online order, join our rewards program or buy a gift certificate. Square handles that transaction and its own data under its own terms.
• Ono Brewing Company, where your event or visit involves the taproom or beer service, to the extent needed to coordinate it.
• Professional advisers, or a buyer or successor, if our business is sold or reorganized.
• Courts, regulators or law enforcement when the law requires it.

How long we keep it

We keep quote requests and event records for as long as we need them to serve you and to keep proper business, tax and insurance records, then delete or anonymize them. Website analytics data is kept in aggregate form.

How we protect it

We use reputable service providers and limit access to your information to the crew members and providers who need it. No website or email transmission is completely secure, so please do not send sensitive information such as card numbers by email or through the quote form.

Your privacy rights

If you live in Virginia, the Virginia Consumer Data Protection Act gives you the right to confirm whether we process your personal data, to access it, to correct inaccuracies, to delete it, and to obtain a copy. You may also opt out of targeted advertising, the sale of personal data and profiling; as noted above, we do not sell personal data or use it for targeted advertising. You may appeal a decision we make about a request.

Children

Our website and catering services are intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has sent us information, contact us and we will delete it.

We link to Square for online ordering, to Ono Brewing Company, and to review and social media sites. Those sites are run by other companies under their own privacy policies, which we encourage you to read.

Changes to this policy

If we change how we handle information, we will update this page and its "last updated" date. Material changes will apply going forward.
